Many cherries and plums have been harvested over the past month. Yields are generally good. Of course, all different varieties are taken into account and the kilos per tree are being recorded.

Thinning of apples and pears is also a central focus. Despite the damage caused by apple blossom beetle, there generally still seems to be enough fruit developing.

Because we did everything possible earlier this year to keep the fruit on the trees, we are now regularly seeing that the fruit quality is not as good. As a result, there is now more thinning work than expected.
